The terminal is also conveniently linked to the well-designed Dutch motorway system. Take the A9 from Amsterdam, Den Haag, Haarlem or Alkmaar and then follow the signs leading to IJmuiden. Then turn right onto Pontplein and carry on driving with the channel to your right. Make your way under the viaduct and turn right at the roundabout, then follow Halkade until you reach the terminal.
