Brodick Harbour is the main ferry terminal on the Isle of Arran, offering frequent crossings to Ardrossan on the Scottish mainland. The port is located just off the A841 on the east coast and provides a large waiting area, toilets and baby changing facilities. Just outside the building, you will find a taxi rank, bus stop and car parking spaces. Whilst you wait to depart, you can enjoy one of the excellent family-owned restaurants nearby or, if you have the time, play a few holes on the village’s excellent golf course. Brodick has a rich and varied wildlife, so be on the lookout for dolphins, seals and basking sharks en route to Ardrossan.
Ardrossan Harbour lies on the North Ayrshire coast in southwest Scotland, providing daily sailings across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran. Completed in 1864, the harbour has a large seated waiting room and a coffee cabin with a supermarket just a five-minute walk away. The port is served by Ardossan Harbour railway station, Princes Street bus stop and a few short term car parking spaces in front of the terminal building If driving from Glasgow and Edinburgh, head west on the M8 and continue onto the A737 and B714 in Dalry, following signs to Ardrossan.
