On board facilities include a self-service restaurant, 3 bars, 2 locations to shop, cinema, 2 internet points, children’s play area, nightclub and an outdoor pool.

I thoroughly enjoyed our Directferries trip. The cabin was very comfortable and quiet. We didn't know what to expect as far as catering and unfortunately we could not get a table in the restaurant, but the buffet/bistro was fine. When we do this trip again, I will try to pre-book a table at the restaurant and would have done so, if we had been better informed. We were very fortunate that the weather conditions were perfect, and we saw a beautiful sunset and an equally beautiful sunrise.

I travveled from Civitavecchia to Cagliari and return finding kindness and availability from the staff, decent boarding time, clan cabin and acceptable travel time. The only negative thing was in the air conditioner too high for kids and infant like my baby only 10 months. Anyway Tirrenia shoul low the prices and accelerate the ferries.

Overall we enjoyed our little adventure. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we were in a nice cabin and the top deck was available for anyone to hang out during the transfer. We also had a good night of sleep as we heard no engine or anything - the sea was still as well. Boarding and leaving the ship was easy and hassle free. The ship is a little tired, so we assumed it was an old cruise ship now used for short transfers, but quite interesting. Food wasn't very good.. - the only thing.

The ship was very nice. Organization during boarding and landing was very good. The only problem is that the staff does not speak neither English nor Deutsch - only Italian.

Recent crossing from Olbia to Civitavecchia was very smooth. The cabin was spotlessly clean and quite spacious, with 4 beds for 2 persons (1st class). The restaurant was reasonably priced, but we were surprised that the food was exactly the same as the self-service café, just with table service.

"Night sailing on Tirrenia ferry to Sardinia"
Had two overnight trips (10 hours each) on the ferry (August 2014)- not good! All the cabins were fully booked so we paid for '1st class reclining seats' They dont recline much and the room has a TV on which some passengers wanted to watch at 1 in the morning! A really bad nights sleep which is not good when travelling the next day. Food and drink are very expensive on board so take your own. I would not take this crossing again unless I could get a cabin. I have done longer crossings such as Portsmouth to Santandar before and they are really good. My advice would be to find an alternative ferry to Sardinia if you can!!

New ship, beautiful, clean and tidy. Not too busy so we could enjoy every area. Frindly and helpful staff. On the return the ship came to Arbatax already full. People and dogs everywhere. I had to sit on the floor because of the people that was sleeping on the sofas, and no one from the staff was controlling the situation. more controls needed

civitavecchia-cagliari with Tirrenia: comfortable, clean, same price or even less then Olbia, it's ideal. I can't understand why food and drinks on board are that expensive.

The outbound crossing was average, the inbound crossing was great. During the check-in, the staff was available and understing before the outbound crossing, but very "aggressive" before the inbound crossing. The boat we travelled on the way there was very basic, however, the one we travelled on the way back deserves 10 out of 10, it was like a cruise ship! Moreover, the captain was available, always ready to answer our questions about the boat and patient with elderly people like my wife who don't know anything about those things.

The best way to arrive in Cagliari for the first time is by sea, preferably in the morning. My wife and I travelled at the end of June 2014. The facilities, food and service on the Amiscora were excellent. I recommend them.

I would give maximum of 4 out of 10. I am aware that it was in the off season and therefore the staff was a bit tired for sure, but we have paid the price and thought it well to obtain a certain service. Unfortunately missing. Booking, payment processing and check everything fit well. On the ship then was also plenty of room and it was not crowded. So what has brought no time constraints the staff. In the cabin we had only found a towel for 4 people and also the folding beds we had to unlock itself. There was no key to this and the phone call to the front desk also has not brought the promised aid. (was also not even speak English, and a very rude Italian) The same situation was at the " self-service " food counter. The expert behind the buffet was very arrogant and very briefly stopped (and only in Italian, with our efforts in the local language to communicate have brought no help). Pool and hot tub were, of course, no longer in operation. To be honest, we did not expect a high service, but we also seem to have missed this time the usual Italian composure and related Common friendliness on the ferry. Maybe next time again! Regards, TZ

Excellent trip, the cabin was spacious and clean. We appreciated the peace and quiet when we woke up. Both on the outbound and return journey they didn't woke us up h3 prior arrival to free the cabin as it happened with other operators.

A very bad night on board: a confortable cabin, but a lot of vibrations and noise. I only slept for 3 hours. We were in cabin 8-1043
"Tirrenia Civitavecchia to Cagliari "
The ride this ferry was actually quite pleasant, except for the 64 minutes delay. However this does not flow in my review, since the ship arrived on time yes. The reserved seat was found quickly, the staff was polite and even offered to carry on luggage. The ship made a good impression overall, but what I can not say to the toilets. These were extremely dirty and smelled of urine strictly. I can not imagine that this comes only from a trip me. My recommendation would be that you installed a device that at least some fresh scent and sprayed the staff maybe a little more often (or at least once) look after the supply of toilet paper and cleanliness. In addition, ran at 2 toilets, the water non-stop, apparently the flush was faulty. Catering facilities there were, however, somewhat limited in choice: My boyfriend is Muslim and does not eat pork. Since the mozzarella toasts were already sold out, he had to be content with a chocolate muffin for dinner. Otherwise, the trip itself was enjoyable as already mentioned. One has just to represent space, the legs, the ship made a friendly and modern impression.

We would prefer to travel with other companies but we are not allowed to do so for political reason, I found the price really expensive in comparison with the service offered.
