"JUST GETTING THROUGH IT (Ibiza to Barcelona)"
the ship was just shocking from broken sun beds that people sat on and flew backwards, to VERY old and tired carpets, 1 small bar with no draught beer, pre heated snacks!!. the ship is just OLD OLD OLD.. the noise in the cabin areas from either the AC or water system was a nightmare. it was a real sad part of the holiday and for £500 one way with a minibus a total and complete rip off.. think VERY hard before using this ferry company (Trasmed!) (NOTE: on the way
"Nice, clean cabin"
We enjoyed a night sleep in a nice, clean cabin
"clean but noisy"
We made the crossing in a cabin, which was clean and well equiped. Still, we weren't able to sleep, because of the grinding noise of the pulley (I think). It's a shame, because the service is good and the staff is helpful.
"Ferry: Palma-Barcelona, overnight ferry from 26/04/2014 "
The ferry had in Palma 1 hour delay in arrival!
"Barcelona to Ibiza"
Overall a good crossing with a comfortable cabin and lively bar. However, we were an hour or two late on both departure and arrival.
"A good crossing"
The crossing went well. We waited too long for boarding. It was too expensive.
"A problem free crossing"
We liked the punctuality, the price of the good, the professionnal attitude of the staff, thanks and see you soon.
"Positive Journey, by the way"
I have travelled with my wife and our dog, the members of the staff were so kind and helpful, the only negative aspect was the long queue at the restaurant, so we moved to the self service restaurant which was another restaurant and paid for the meal again even though it was already included in the ticket!
"Trip by boat "
Trip to Menorca
"Crossing Cadiz-Santa Cruz of Tenerife"
The ferry was quite good, the staff was excellent, I recommend booking a cabin instead of the seating. The food was really nice and there was also free Wi-Fi. long journey mind you.
"A crossing with no problems "
The ferries are Trasmediterranea on the route Cadiz - come Canaries all a bit old On deck there is virtually no seating and if there are very scruffy old plastic chairs and loungers (about 8 to 200 guests).. .. The staff is always friendly, although English is spoken only on the information ... This time I had the prmier class booked (double bed cabin and restaurant included) that was all good at everything - my waiter was very nice, even if the same is to be English again only on hi, sorry and OK limited ... I am now down for the fourth time on the ferry and it is as it is - an inavoidable but not-killing must; if you need your car ....
"Crossing the ocean "
It has been a very pleasant and quite journey. I would recommend it to anyone who has to do this route. Everything has been correct, except for the cafés which I thought were a bit expensive.
"about trip from Cadiz to arrecife "
"our", "cruise" "was okay-were glad that you did not last long! our 2 cats were totally stressed. for animals a horror you could do a lot better, but where there is none competitors far and wide, you can do whatever you want! way back we take Armas to Huelva in Portugal - but is certainly the same failed ... we take and, incidentally next times our folding chairs with that we do not sit on the dirty floor must be run, because thè few hundred guests, there were only a few are! "
"Mantainance"
even though I personally think that it is not possible to take an action on this matter, I found really difficult for the elderly to have access to food services.. Apart from that the journey was nice, just the cleaning service should be improved..
"Thanks for everything"
A gorgeous journey. Thanks for all
"A cabin or nothing"
After a 12 hours drive under a scorching heay, you are tired, hungry and in need of washing. When you board the ferry, you think that you will be able to eat something, get some fresh air on the deck. However, it didn't happen this way. In spite our booking seats, two people in our group had nowhere to seat (except on the floor). Those who could get a seat weren't able to nap with the bright light and the sound of the TV in Spanish. We thought that we would eat at least. However, there were only pork based sandwiches. We thought that a ferry going to a muslim country would have something else. PS: The 3 hours crossing was quick, but you need a good stomach
"A crush for the boarding passes"
The boat is clean and well laid out. The problem is with boarding. The queue are poorly organised. It takes at least 1h30 to get the boarding card despite of the self service machines - which are not always working…
"On Acciona to Melilla"
It was very well organised
"recommended!"
Outward journey by fast boat. From Malaga to Melillia in less than 4 hours. Departure on time and according to schedule. Certainly recommended for everyon and specifically for those who continue their journey in the direction of Nador and beyond.
"Crosiign from Lanzarote to Tenerife"
Great way to transport yourself cheaply from Lanzarote to Tenerife. We paid a total €140 for 4 people and a sea view cabin. The cabin is fine and the meals are simple, but what is to say for a hot lunch for €5. There's even on board entertainment for children if they'd be up for that. We left Lanzarote at midnight and arrived on Tenerife at 5pm. We did have a 5 hour stop at gran canaria. The cabin is yours to use all day and that is quite nice.
"Good Journey"
We travelled from Almeria to Melilla. We booked a 2 birth cabin. The cabin was reasonable if a little dated but a reasonable amount of room. The ferry was rather old but everyone on board was helpful. Food options seemed good with reasonable prices. Overall a good experience.
"Food needs improvement"
The staff isn't efficient. The quality of the food is disappointing. The crossing is boring, no entertainment for 35 hours. The bathroom in our cabin wasn't cleaned. We felt secured on board though.
"Crossing to Arrecife"
I found it to be a very good experience.
"Great food"
Great catering loved the food. Very bad cleaning of restrooms (the cleaning intervals should be at least 4x per day)
"Faultess"
Very good crossing, cannot fault it.
"Perfect, but boring ...."
We made the crossing Cadiz-Tenerife, the ship was flawless at all, good food, toilets always clean and friendly crew. The only sore point, THERE'S NOTHING TO DO .... the ship had only a small bar (inside) and a shop where they sold marshmallows! By contradiction, the route Civitavecchia-Barcelona was much more interesting with many attractions, the pool was still empty, but at least there was, in the route from Cadiz is not even a shadow ... For the rest 49 hours are too much for who want to relax ;)
"Room for improvement"
I liked the friendy and helpful staff and the big and stable ferry on the way back. I missed and room to relax without a commercial use and more seating possibilities outside of the restaurants. I would have also like clean deckchairs outside and on the way back messages in more languages and clear instructions on when shops etc close and open.
"Ok but room for improvement"
I had a two berth outside cabin for myself. It was pretty small and not luxurious, but that's ok, it is a ferry after all and not a cruise boat. Bed, Shower, toilet were ok. Wall quite thin, so you could hear the neighbors. Cleanliness was ok, could be better though. Ferry left an hour late but arrived punctually, so can't complain. The shop was open at times and closed again, no opening times to be found anywhere and no prices were indicated on the products. At the back of the boat there was nice bar with nice views. There was also a self service restaurant which was very inviting, and again, no opening times were displayed. Food and non alcholic drinks were actually included in the ticket price, didn't realise this and nobody informed me about either. All in ok the crossing was quite ok, even though there definitely room for improvement.
"Satisfied with the service"
This is the third crossing that I have done in the Canary peninsula. Very satisfied in general for the entire service.
"Room for improvement"
At first it was a big problem to find the ferry terminal to Cadiz, it was very poorly signposted. When we had finally found the dock, the boarding passes had to be collected within a remote construction site. All passengers we asked had the same problems. Breakfast on board was very poor, there was only one choice of bread and a small cup of coffee. Lunch and dinner were ok. Although the weather was beautiful, there were no deck chairs or seating, some passengers used the bins to sit. Swimming pool was closed. Housing the dog was fine.
"Not nice being a dog"
So far everything ok. Food was ok. Dogs were housed with their boxes in a very noisy place, the light was constantly on. As a dog owner, I can not recommend the ferry.
"Transmediterrenea review"
Good, but there’s room for improvement with the boarding process.
"Pets!"
When we travel with a pet, we have a small room with cages for our pets. This room is open and every owner has a key to lock their cage. You can take your pet and walk around the deck during the trip. In the daytime crossing the best is to read a book lying on a chair on deck and with your pet. If we want to watch the TV for a while, you can leave the pet in the cage a few hours.
"Dog"
It was perfect to be able to take my dog out of the kennel whenever I needed to and was thankful for the kindness of the staff!
