"Perfect"
I loved this trip. A cosy cabin at perfect room temperature and nice and quiet
"Almost good entertainment "
Really brilliant pianist and singer, couldn’t understand why another singer with guitar started singing at the same time and had a similar repertoire, it created a really awful noise combined. They were both good singers.
"Wonderful trip"
From check in to disembarcation, our trip ran like clockwork and the staff were friendly and efficient. We chose to take the evening buffet which was an fabulous meal in the most beautiful surroundings. Our cabin was comfortable and clean. Looking forward to another trip in the future!

"Viking Line Amorella"
allways a pleasure to sail with Viking Line
"Finland Experience"
Excellent
"Just excellent"
Superb! All went well. The duty free and retaurants were perfect - just what wenneeded/ Truly the best part ofour European trip in May 2019.
"Disappointing..."
I recently travelled with Silja line to Stockholm, paid the same price I paid for this cruise, and travelled over night. I received a lovely little cabin on one of the higher floors, my own bathroom, electricity sockets, a hairdryer, a room that had two spacious single beds (the top one folded up for headspace below), and the ship in general was very beautiful and new looking inside. I had expected a similar experience and planned my trip in accordance. I was in a crammed anchor deck cabin, there were no shower slippers offered to help me considering using the very public shower (I also asked at info desk about these), I could not sit up in my small, unprepared/unmade bed without interacting with the top bunk, no electricity, no signal/connection, and just not any space at a really. The ship was overall a lot older looking inside and perhaps a lot smaller as well than those I have travelled with in the past. On a positive note, the ship was on time and the cafe had plenty of space to sit (never seemed too busy) and friendly service.
"Very nice experience "
We enjoyed the ship and the berth and all the staff was kind. A very pleasant ride. Slept well.
"Super trip"
Wonderful trip from Turku to Stockholm. Glad we didn't book the restaurant for lunch. The meal would have cost us £100 for three people. Instead we enjoyed a really nice (and healthy) hot meal in the cafe, an option we thoroughly recommend. Cabin very clean. Rather a stale smell in public areas near staircases and lifts. Comfortable seating on deck. Enjoyed seeing all the islands.
"enjoyable cruise"
Great entertainment from bands on my day time crossing from Turku to Stockholm.
"Stockholm to Turku"
Gorgeous try through the Stockholm Archipelago but very short night.
"perfect trip"
perfect trip
"When the dog's welfare is paramount"
As was travelling with my dog, the welfare of the dog was paramount. Dog was permitted in the cabin, although not on the bed. The cabin was on the smallish side, so challenging to enforce the no dog on bed policy when travelling with a large dog. The airing deck had a small area designated for dogs to relieve themselves. I'd say M/S Mariella (Viking Line) meets a dog's needs.
"Super nice summer crossing"
We’re on holiday trip with 4 (2 adults 2 children 11 and 10). In the summer the rear outside deck is confirted to lounge area with bar and live dj. The inside bar is changed to super kids playground. The oustside was super nice. Good music good vibes great scenery. ( and there was a lot of Sun so lucky) inside cabins ok. Tax free and usual gambling. The off and unloading wasbl very fast. Last but not least the staff was very nice. All in all good trip. Remember to finland the clock moves + 1hr! For waking up good to know to not haste. ( ah and the shower in the cabin is very good.).
"Not enough information in english!"
No English at all on written signs, and the little info through the loudspeakers could hardly be heard... co-tourists and personnel helped. Also the “free, included in price” 4-birth cabin, while well appointed, vibrated so strongly that I couldn’t sleep. Buffet dinner wonderful, well worth the price.
"Nice trip"
The quality of the ferry in comparison with the price is amazing. The ship has lots of services and is very comfortable.
"Our recent voyage"
Service was excellent throughout the trip. Cabin was clean, quiet and suitable. Especially liked the reasonably priced meals. Next time I must try to remember where I parked the car.
"Cleaning of the ship"
Thank you for your service. The ferry from Stockholm to Turku was nice and comfortable. However, we didn't find the ferry from Turku to Stockholm so clean and nice; we didn't have TV at our cabin and also the window of our cabin was not clean and couldn't provide us with a nice view. Thanks and hope to find this review constructive for Viking Line! Best,
"All great"
On time, comfortable cabin, things to do. Reasonable priced coffee and tea and loved the refill for 0,50€
"Trip to Stockholm"
Check in was quick a d easy Boarding was on time. Lots of seating on board We had a super meal on board The journey was very scenic. We had value for money
"Pleasant trip! "
Extremely helpful and kind staff in all decks that I interacted with!
"Decent but not perfect"
Nice ship, good facilities, comfy cabins, bit tight. Very slow boarding process and hectic disembarkation. Good food.
"Stockholm to Turku"
Great ferry, food was excellent and good value. Cain was the same as every other ferry, so was ok! Very large duty free shop. Loads of food choice. I really enjoyed this trip. And as a bonus the views in and out of Stockholm and Turku were superb.
"Take this trip!"
Amorella is a very elegant ship. The dinner is first rate with attentive and fast service in the restaurant. Room is fine. Just take a shower before bed as the boat gets in early and turns around to go back within an hour.
"Back on the Viking ferry again!"
This is my twice annually recurring trip between Åbo (Turku) and Mariehamn. A view of the wide sea, comfortable seats, good food and friendlypersonnel.
"Good value"
Nice cabin, clean and comfy Bed
"My first trip with Viking Line"
Overall, everything was fantastic and I had an excellent time on the ship. The room was great and clean, the entertainment was good, drinks reasonably priced as was most of the food. My only complaint is the price of the buffets. YIKES. The breakfast was too over-priced but the lunch and dinner were outrageous. I did not partake in either lunch or dinner, just breakfast, simply because of the cost. If they were less, I probably would have had at least one of the two on each journey. But, other than that, Thumbs Up all around. Thanks!!!!
"My Vikingline ferry journey "
Arriving in Stockholm I was encourage by the Viking ferry's staff, Considering that I can only speak little Finnish their welcoming and hospitality was warn and helpful My two berth on-sweet Cabin was clean, with a TV (with lots of live sports channels) and a free Wifi service WOW! The ferry was clean and the MANY onboard forms of musical entertainment was fantastic, There were skilful and talented musicians to suit all ages. ( I enjoyed every performance) The ferry journey was smooth to and from Turku And the various island scenery was fantastic But Overall what fascinated me most was the cost I travelled from the UK port of Dover to Dunkirk, Ranka ( France) with just my car and nothing else, no form of entertainment or cabin and the cost was 138 pounds at discount price I drove to Stockholm, taking Viking line with my car, a two berth cabin and all of the said above entertainment. beautiful views etc and yet my return cost was 96 euros (91 pounds) That is why, to o me I will always travel with Viking Line ferries every time I take my twice annual trip to Soumi- Finland
"Best ferry"
Wow what a great ferry or more like a cruise ship! Entertainment was exceptional , shopping was easy, food and drinks reasonable.
"Excellent "
Me and the kids we enjoyed the Viking line cruisers journey.
"Excellent family trip from Stockhom to Turku"
Really enjoyed our first overnight ferry trip! Excellent experience for us and our 8 year old. Recommend booking an outside cabin so you can see the islands as you travel
"Easy way to travel"
Viking line cruise was an easy way for us to travel to and from Sweden and Finland. The room was as advertised and it was not too noisy for sleeping overnight.
"Nearly there again. Oikin hyvaa"
On booking our crossing overnight from Stockholm I was pleasantly surprised to have a free cabin which had all necessary amenities. The ship itself was up to Viking Lines usual standards including food and information.
"Superb experience "
Maybe the best ship experience I ever had. The Amorella is more like a luxury cruise ship rather than a commuting ship. Ship was sparkly clean throughout and the facilities where 5 stars. Stuff was professional and helpful. Highly recommended.
"Turku to Stockholm day trip"
Lovely trip, lots of entertainment throughout the day. Get in early if you want to use the sauna, it closed earlier than listed when I tried.
"Efficiency and comfort"
My first experience with ferries. Good combination of comfort and efficiency - to get from a place of one meeting to a place of another meeting overnight, better than plane + hotel. I did appreciate being alone in a cabine.
"Viking line (Amorella)"
Great first experience. Travelling with a car from the UK to Finland. It felt like a luxury hotel on Sea.
"very nice experience!"
the ship was big and clean..the staff was helpfull and food was also very good..thank you!
"Overnight trip"
We enjoyed this trip from Stockholm to Turku. The ship was very comfortable. Our bed was good. The buffet was excellent. The only negative was getting into Turku in the dark and not being able to see the land. Would recommend this trip.
"A good and comfortable voyage "
A lovely first time experience on a Viking line ship for this kind of voyage. Everything I need was accessible and the cabin was comfortable.
"A very pleasant trip"
The Viking Line ships were a perfect way for us to get to Finland. Both ships were on time, the cabins were lovely - especially Viking Grace! A lot of options for food plus there were vegetarian options for people like me. Overall, its a very good service!
"Luxury experience"
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent experience on Viking Line's overnight auto ferry between Turku and Stickholm. From ticketing to check in to the clean and modern room to the views from the deck to the friendly employees! We enjoyed every aspect of our ferry crossing and would gladly sail with Viking Line again in the future! We have sailed on several different autoferries both in Europe and the US and, by far, Viking Line has been our favorite experience of all! Keep up the great work!
"Nice "
It was quite cheap and it did its job. Nothing to say.
"best thing that i made in my life."
We really appriciate the service that given on board.camara, restaurants, shows were excellent. I shared my experience with trip adviser too.
"Two Traveling Kiwis "
A very pleasant trip between Helsinki and Tallinn with good hosts. We will recommend this trip to our friends.
"Holidays August 2015"
Excellent navigation, really clean and accurate organization. Every kind of service on board. Only one thing, slots are accessible event to minors! And they are always there.....
"Family visit in Finland"
As experienced in previous trips with Tallink Silja from Stockholm to Turku, there was a great service level and customer focussed employees. Keep up the good work. Femmie & Anthonie
"Very good travel"
Very good standard of the ferry. Inside the cabin you do not hear anything. The ferry is going smooth. The Buffet is very good equipped. You can find meat, fish, vegetables and deserts.
"Pleasant crossing"
Good crossing, lots of entertainment. Check-in time of 90 minutes before departure is a bit too much.
""
This is Norwegian/Danish
"Comfortableness"
The possibility to sit down comfortable was equally badly handled on both ferries. The first ferry had a room that was far too small with chairs, that were not comfortable in the long run. The trip took over 5 hours and hard café chairs will give you a woody taste after a while!
"thousand islands"
you might expect to pay through the nose for a cruise on the Baltic - but the 11 hour daytime ferry crossing cost only a few pounds. The Amirella was a well equipped liner, with excellent catering options. Comfortable seating was limited . Some might find an 11 hour trip too long but we enjoyed the constant changes as the massive vessel weaved through the series of islands. The highlight was following the Swedish coast and the entrance to Stockholm.
"Night crossing"
The Amorella is an older ferry with bunk beds in the cabin. The upper bed was somehow difficult to reach. Viking Grace is a beautiful ferry with all the comforts, even a television in the cabin.
"super"
It was cool to travel with car.
"Day trip on the Viking ferry from Turku to Stockhom"
A lovely journey, through archipelagos of islands at both ends, and a terrific Scandinavian smorgasbord in between. we were also lucky that he weather was lovely, and so we spent most of the trip on the rear deck, with an excellent view.
"Day crossing Turku - Stockholm"
Great trip on board a nice ship serving one of the best buffets!!!
"Ferry to Stockholm"
No complaints!
"Wonderful"
Very relaxing and enjoyable cruise between Stockholm and Turku. Huge difference in the two ferries though. The Viking Grace is fabulous but the Amorella definitely needs some care and attention. It was a disappointment after the Grace and the Amorella moved a lot more unsteadily - just okay. I have scored the ratings based on the Grace.
"Recommend"
All goes well, at the highest level
"Very good"
Thank You, trip was nice!
"Our trip"
Everything was perfect. It was a nice trip for us. Thanks
"Nice trip"
Is a comfortbale accomodation and also cheap to move from Sweden and Finland. The ship is super punctual and a lots of services are offered. It is higly recommend!
"Travel, accommodation and cruise in one!"
I was traveling to Findland via Sweden (it was cheaper to fly in to Stockholm) and stumbled across the Ferry. It was super cheap- I had a cabin to myself (no frills and basic bed and bathroom, no window) but it was only 45 euros! The onboard food was pretty good and reasonably priced. Boarding was easy. The booking said I needed to be check in an hour and a half before departure... but actually when I got there it was not even open! I would take the ferry again. Happy travels!
"Priceworthy"
Nice trip to a good price.
"Pleasant surprise"
We were thrilled to see the ship and all it's amenities for such a reasonable price. It was a pleasant and smooth trip with very good organization at the terminals. We would definitely use Viking again
"Viking Amorella OK"
Good start on our conference trip to Turku
"Conference Trip"
Stunning scenery.
"Nice journey"
Very nice trip across the islands. Enjoyed it.
"Need seating"
A nice boat, plenty to do. But, and its a big but, unless you are a bar , cafe etc nowhere to speak of to sit inside.
"Stockholm - Turku "
We had a very enjoyable overnight crossing. Comfortable cabin with good view, excellent catering and straightforward unhurried boarding and disembarking. One of the high points of our holiday.
"One night mini cruise"
I liked the journey, especially, Turku Stockholm because of the ship (more modern), the departing from Turku was spectacular, although I would put the disembarkation one hour later, to enjoy more night on board
"Value"
Given the high cost of tourism in Scandinavia, I found the cost for the voyage to be pleasantly low, given that we were moving a car as well as ourselves. Cabin accommodations were adequate and well maintained. Our traveling companions anticipated possibly eating from vending machines so the on-board full food service was also appreciated
"trip"
excellent trip even without cabin. A lot of space where you can seat and relax. Good buffet restaurant
"Great cross over on the Viking Grace"
We loved the boat, we specially loved our two persons cabin with its double bed and tv, very comfortable. The deck was nice and roomy enough to enjoy yourself as well.
"Travel in comfort"
Amorella was very good but our cabin was under the car deck which was a bit unnerving.Viking Grace was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.Sadly following the instructions on your website we went to the wrong ferry terminal and had to drive through rush hour traffic to get to the correct one.
"OK"
This was an ok trip. Nice ship. Ok taxfree and ok food. We had a pleasant sailing. A not so nice thing was that the information we received from directferries was wrong, so we were at check in a lot longer before we had to be. This ruined a lot of the day on the ship for several reasons. I have written a separate email to Directferries about this.
"leisure"
Fast boarding, comfortable seats, breathtaking view with sun protection and music on board. Fabulous trip
"Viking Grace"
The trip was nice, so was the cabin. Good entertainments for both adults and children. Our only complain is when you drove off the ferry. We ended up in the wrong lane and drove in the wrong direction.
"Ordinary ferry trip"
It is difficult to say something new about Viking ferry between Stockholm and Turku, because every day hundreds of people are using this route. The boarding with a car takes a little bit more time than you expect, but nevertheless sooner or later you will park your car on one of the car desks. You can save your money if you will take a cheap cabin under the car deck - there is no window, but you will spend there only one night, so it does not matter at all. Entertainment programs are coming to the end very early, around midnight, also the bars are closed at this time. One tip - car parking in Stockholm in direct close to terminal is extremely expensive - 30 SEK per hour. So please do not be lazy and spend few minutes examining in Internet map of parking places nearby. It is my secret but very close to the terminal there is a park place that costs only 50 SEK per 24 hours.
"nice and comportable trip"
thv ticket purchase & the check in & check out were easy and took few minutes. the cabin was ready and clean.
"stoccolma -torku"
excellent crossing, comfortable ship and full of shops
" Great trip."
Excellent ship, delightful scenery.
"A pleasant way to spend an evening"
I am not particularly keen on travelling for any length of time on ferries but was recommended to give this a go. We booked in for the buffet which was a really good spread, good value and helped to pass the evening. Unfortunately our cabin was right at the end of a corridor right next to all the cars so I wasn't delighted about this. There was a droning noise from the engines which could be heard from our cabin however the water was like a mill pond and I didn't feel sea sick once. The cabin was very basic and the pillow bargain basement, however I did sleep well. It was a pleasant one off experience and I gather that some of the other ferries are much nicer. The views at sunset were great and you are so close to the archipelagos.
"my very first time"
My first cruise at age 40: the good and the bad. Good: fantastic way to view the Swedish archipelagos, I got the same tour that I paid for days before but at a greater height and better sunset views; fine to appreciate the massive size of the vessel from the views on the top. Bad: fellow passengers behaving like scurrying rats to grab all the seats, food, and sleeping spots as soon as possible; generally mediocre quality of food and drinks for quite high prices; this being an overnight cruise most of the services were closed quickly; bad wifi reception in the center of the ship; rocking of the boat much of the night requiring dramamine; lack of classy touches, very Vegas. Overall cruises are not for me but I thought I would try it out. More fun option perhaps than a plane just for the variety, the cost of a bed and the fare is much less than a flight and a hotel
"Wonderful views"
We stayed at best western night before as next to ferry re early start as tickets say 2 hr before but only needed 30 mins before, traveled weekday so ferry quiet,we sat at the front of ferry near cafe(bring own teabags only fruit ones available like lots of Europe), good choice breakfast(hot /cold) and lunch hot meals, salad bar, baguettes and snacks, similar price to rest of Finland, staff friendly and helpful. You can keep your cases with you, great views of islands in both archipelagos and lots of styles of houses, lots of birds e.g. geese, cormorants, sea eagles and a variety of boats to see. Note you can't buy currency on-board like Greek and French ferry's only exchange what you have.Play areas, games areas, restaurants, quiet rooms and smoking rooms available- we didn't use these.Free WiFi and lots of charging points. Glad we went in the day as so much to see and the weather was sunny.
"Stockholm to Turku on Amorella"
We enjoyed the ferry ride which was very comfortable and picturesque. The instructions on getting to the ferry in Stockholm were confusing. Your web page said to go to one terminal, your email said to go to another. In the end we had to scramble to get to the correct terminal. Also the instructions were misleading in terms of how far in advance to arrive at the ferry terminal.
"Viking Grace, not what we expected."
To start with we travelled with Viking because we were curious about the new ferry. We chose not go visit the parts of the ferry that probably were the most exclusive ones. We deprted from Stockholm in the morning and we only wanted a simple breakfast. We didn't want the buffet that early, we were on deck 8 were they had a nice restaurant that we thought would suit us, to sit at the window and have a nice view of the beautiful archipelago. But we weren't allowed there, eating the food that the restaurant offered (3 meters from their own tables), so we got breakfast from the cafeteria instead. The breakfast restaurant remained empty during the whole trip. For the return trip we want to give all the best recomandations for Amorella. We used the same facilities but they were much better this time. Too bad for Viking Grace creating such a bad reputation.
"Excellent experience"
My wife and I are retired US citizens on a 2-week drive trip thru Denmark, Sweden and Finland. We traveled on Viking Line with our rental car from Stockholm to Turku, and then from Helsinki back to Stockholm. Everything was excellent on both trips.
"Beyond expectations"
We were pleasantly surprised with the ship and its facilities. Our cabin was nice, clean and spacey. The bars, restaurants and shops were good too. All in all we spent a nice evening and night on board so we were well rested for the rest of our trip in Finland.
"Travelling with Viking Grace - choice of cabin"
We had a cabin on deck 5 and were a bit sceptical at first. The last couple of sailins we have chosen to upgrade the cabin and have chosen cabin with double bed and a big window. The cabin on deck 5 with Viking Grace is very recommendable, just as nice as an upgraded cabin. There was lots of space between the beds and a nice ensuite bathroom with a nice shower. We were positively surprised and will choose a similar cabin on our next sailing. In addition it was very nice and easy to have the cabin on same deck as car deck. No narrow stairs and no elevator queue.
"Perfect"
It was the fist time that I was taking a boat for such a long crossing. The quality of the reception, the organisation, the cleanliness, the quality of the food and the quality of the show were all perfect. An excellent value for money.
"Almost everything good "
Ride was on time, cabin ok, restoration in order. But outside the cabin it was all too cold.
"Good trip"
It was a good trip. We were in time and all we wanted to do was OK.
"Back to Stockholm"
A nice trip, nothing to complain!
"all the best, but cold. "
the passage was not as intense lake completely dark. Check-in, ride, cabin, restaurant - everything was great. Just outside the cabin and especially in the restaurant, it was just too cold, certainly not 20 degrees. I can only recommend this route. Thank you and best regards
"Ferry zero trouble-way there a complete disaster with defective Navi taxi rip-we hate Stoc "
TO faulting are at the ferry nothing. 9. deck our cabin in the ship was very comfortable. Unfortunately the crossing somewhat stormy, unfortunately my wife was a little seasick. What is extremely poor, the signs in Stockholm in itself: we followed a sign, from which one could reasonably guess ferry, landed promptly at Stena line, not where we wanted to go and my wife then in desperation due lack of time in virtually as no signs then hired a taxi driver for 2 Districts then converted us with prompt 110 euros, so that we could reach the ferry ... To the Stiummung was the beginning of the crossing quite in the bucket, but is not necessarily at the ferry company, but at Stockholm itself. We hate Stockholm and their residents! Maybe the operating company should push for time on a better signposting for people with whom the Navi has failed.
"wonderful "
thank you ... it was a nice trip
"Amorella "
very neat, so we recommend pity that German is not practiced here
"Thank you for the beautiful crossing "
I caught a good day, the band with Michael Personic, was the coronation. I look forward to the next trip.
"It was a very nice trip with the best service. Thanks a million."
It was a very pleasant trip with the best of service. Thanks a million.
"Convnience"
I had the pleasant trip with Viking line.
"Amorella"
It was an enjoyable trip on the "Amorella". The excellent entertainment was a bonus and there was a good atmosphere on the boat. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. I have travelled with the Viking Line a number of times in the past and it has always been enjoyable.
"All very pleasant! "
Very nice ship, pleasant atmosphere, everything as described, no problems!
"Beautiful crossing to beautiful Finland"
Both journeys were at night. Outward to Turku on the Amorella. Good ship, tidy and well cared for. Return to Stockhom on the Viking Grace. This is a very beautiful, luxurious and tidy ship! We didn't think the fare of €245 return (car, 2 people + 2 x sea view cabin (with window)) was expensive!
"Wonderful experience"
We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday, champagne brunch, great food, great service! We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the ship.
"Small archipelago cruise "
the crossing with the Viking Grace has enjoyed it very much. The ship equipment is very balanced, for every budget and for every cultural taste is catered for. Children have also been thought. The weather had to this day is still very good mood and showed up with a radiant sunshine. way we made ourselves in the rear lounge comfortably. Only for online booking, there was an error that had our vehicle set too small, and thus problems at check-in with yourself brought., but thanks to digital post the error during the holiday season could be corrected, so that we could enjoy the trip without any problems. We can recommend this ship with a clear conscience. Angela and Jürgen, Potsdam
"Nice and easy experience"
Booking the crossing was easy and a very reasonable price. The ferry was lovely, food excellent, a good crossing!!!!
"Recommended! "
Recommended!
"Problems with booking bicycle"
I booked online and couldnt book a bicycle what I told them in a short mail. The next day I got a phone call and they told me that this was not gonna be a problem and they try to fix the problem (I hope they did!). Thanks for the good communication. The trip itself was perfect.
"Return crossing Stockholm - Turku"
The boarding area in Stockholm is not easy to find. Because there's not much time between arrival and departure our rooms were still being cleaned. It didn't bother us, but have seen it done differently. The Amorella is a decent ship, with all necessary amenities. The Viking Grace is a luxury ship with all sorts of extras like massages and a go-cart track for the kids. There are lounge seats on deck. Both ships offer a range of food a drink, there's something for everybody. The rooms and bed are good. The personalised welcome message on tv was funny. The only downside is that we were asked by staff if they could already start cleaning the rooms before we had arrived. This gave us a feeling of being rushed. Good value for money.
"Great Company & Great Ferry!"
The Viking Ferry system is a great system to use when travelling! They have a great staff, cheap rooms, (that are large) and many free activities on board. I just wish that the trip was longer!
"Quiet Crossing "
Unfortunately, most announcements were made only in Swedish and Finnish. It should be on such a ship standard that all announcements are also in English. So far as we could tell there were at this crossing, next to us, other guests on board who spoke neither Finnish nor Swedish. If there were safety, we have not notice anything.
"Trip with Viking "
Excellent experience for both quality and cleanness. i would recommend it.
"Bon Voyage! "
"The decision, the crossing from Stockholm to Turku with Viking Line in" "direcferris.de" book "Gold was right: A wonderful afternoon in Stockholm, a fantastic cabin sleeps 2, an exemplary service on board and an unforgettable crossing best late summer weather ... Highly recommended! Armin Krause, Leipzig "
"Turku - Stockholm with Viking Lineauf the Amorella ferry "
Crossing was okay
"5.5 hours island slalom "
We went within a week with three different ships of Viking Line and always have a well-equipped, clean ship found. The departure was always on time and the clearance problem and friendly. The quality of care on the ship was very good. Likewise, the seating very good. The journey from Turku to Mariehamn had already partially Cruise character. We can not give any information because we were traveling only as steerage passengers on the quality of the cars. But a quick look into exploring the ships also this give a good feeling.
"Very happily surprised"
Eleven hours daytravels from one of the worlds most beautiful and biggest archiepelagos Stockholm-Åland-Åbo with Viking Lines ferries. If you compare with the competitors we travelled with during three weeks earlier, Viking Line was one of the better and at least when it comes to the open and very pleasent walks you could take on the upper decks, where smokers had a very limited and seperated area on the Viking Lines ferries. The service, well cleaned areas, and the friendly staff, Viking Line was superb. We been having for years a completely different view of this before. We will travel more with Viking Line for nice weekends in Finland.
"Journey to Aland Islands"
This August I had a trip with my girlfriend three days on the Aland islands and we had chosen for the crossing the Viking line ferry which was very well presented, punctual, and the staff very helpful and everything was absolutely perfect, well worth the money spent. I would make this trip again.
"A beautiful place to ride "
We were sitting comfortably in the cafe, front, with a great view! There were lots of offers, if they sought employment or variety. Physical activities for children that were missing for adults unfortunately. The night crossing was also quiet and cozy, breakfast was plentiful and reasonable in price.
"Stokholm - Turku; Turku - Stokholm "
The ride on the ferries was pleasant. The return trip with the Viking Grace: I booked an outside cabin which was also indicated in the text as. Only the cabin code has declared an inside cabin, which we then use it. This was a major disappointment for the kids. Nevertheless, the two cruises have remained in good memory. Sincerely, Vesa Pajasmaa
"Mini cruise"
More than a ferry trip i would say it was a mini cruise. The ship, very big and organised, offered good entertainment. We travelled for 11 hours with about €70 and we had an inside cabin, quite comfortable. We took our car. An absolutely positive experience.
"Day trip"
I was happily surprised about the ferry from Finland to Sweden, we thought that it was an ordinary journey , but, It was like a mini cruise. From Turku to Stockholm we had chosen to travel during the day time and that was perfect for us, this ferry is miles better than the standard Italian ferries, it's luxurious, clean, and elegant, there was even a spa inside the ship. The members of the staff were helpful and professional. In conclusion I have to say that also the booking with direct ferries was great even though I had done it in the last minute.
"Turku -> Stockholm"
I've paid 29 euros for the travel (basic ticket). The ship was clean, the staffs were helpful as I forgot to print my booking number and my name was mistaken but they managed to find my booking anyway, enjoyed staying on deck with the sun and sea!
